My classroom is very diverse and includes English Language Learners. These students often struggle at first while transitioning to a new school in a new language. It is amazing to see the classroom work together and rally around these students to help them with the transition.
Many times, we end up using technology to bridge the language gap. This allows the students to interact with others in the classroom even when their language skills are limited. I love seeing students working together to solve problems while having fun using technology.
I strive to have a classroom where students have the freedom to experiment with technology while creating projects and assignments.
