My students are 7 and 8 year old second graders. Our school is a diverse neighborhood public school in Connecticut which is considered a "school in need of improvement." We have a large population of lower economic families who receive free or reduced price lunch. The students are hard working and the school atmosphere is always complimented by outsiders.
