I teach at a title one school where 95% of my students are at the poverty level! In addition 70% of my students come from a home where English is not their first language and parents have difficulty helping them with their homework. When the students come to school it is imperative that we utilize each minute of the day practicing our much needed skills to be able to succeed in life.
