My second graders are a bright and inquisitive group of students who want to explore, have a better understanding of their world, and unlock the mysteries of matter. Unfortunately, we are lacking the resources to adequately meet these desires. As a teacher, I want to create hands-on science learning to meet the individual needs of all my students. My students have a thirst for science knowledge and want to know more. My school is located in a very low income, rural area of Colorado. Over half of the students are on free and reduced lunch. We are a Title I school.
