I teach 31 amazing 5th graders in an elementary school in Colorado. My students truly have a love of learning and they are actively engaged during the school day. They participate and work hard but sometimes they hit a brick wall when it comes to writing. Almost a third of my class has special needs including, English Language Learners.
The economy and educational budget cuts have made it difficult to get technology and tools in the classroom. With an iPod Nano, my students will have the ability to write their amazing stories and give them life with the help of a vehicle, to move the information from their brain to their paper.
