We live in a small rural community in the mountains of Arizona. We are near the White Mountain Apache Indian reservation. Our little town has the population of about three thousand people. We have about 400 students in fifth through eighth grade at our public school. Our community has suffered some hardships over the past couple of years. Our town was evacuated because of a wildfire and a plane wrecked into our high school. We had to close the elementary school and combine it with another school. This has increased our class sizes. We have a very tight budget and items like technology equipment are not a necessity.
