My students are from a low income district in Rhode Island. As a result of the town's financial situation, the school budget has been cut to the bare minimum. In a school of 1,000 there are only two computer labs which are used full time by specialist teachers. Many students do not have computers or Internet access at home. The only exposure they have to computers is within the classroom.
