When we listen to audiobooks in class, it helps the less creative minds visualize and enjoy reading on an level above what they are used to. It also helps struggling readers gain vocabulary knowledge. Imagine if your reading level was way below your interest level. Reading elementary books in middle school probably wouldn't be fun. But, what if that is all you could comprehend? These popular audiobooks will be available for students to read and enjoy, no matter their reading level. The hardback copies are already in the classroom for them to use. Hopefully the audiobooks will be a way to entice low-level and low-interest readers into reading.
