Attending an inner city school where 98% of the student body receives free/reduced lunch, with the largest population of homeless students, and in a neighborhood plagued by gang violence, can be challenging. These students want to explore these challenges by creating a radio program centering on home. They will interview a grandparent to learn how their neighborhood has changed over time. They will explore the issue of homelessness by interviewing people who can answer the questions, "What it is like to call another person's home your home?" and "What it is like to be without a safe place to sleep?"
