We have both emerging English or Spanish learners and Spanish new comers that need to be able to come to our school library and get a book that will interest them!
By having these books that mirrored in English it will enable the students to read together and teach each other's language!
It would also enable me to read books to the younger students in both languages.
We have 97% poverty and the children all received free lunches well before Covid-19 began to ravage out school district.
They need all the extra help that we can possibly give them to succeed!
