When my students come to school it is their safe place. I want then to feel comfortable and safe as they learn. Being that I do teach in the full time gifted program at a title one school, I would like to find a way to assist my students with their organizational skills.
It is important for students to feel safe and welcomed. It is so important for gifted students to work on enrichment activities, while still nurturing their gifted quirks, and making them feel safe. The classroom decorations will welcome them back into a very nurturing classroom, where their needs; organizational and fidget, will be readily taken care of. I look forward to seeing my students excel with the flexible seating options, the the additional organization, and the band on the legs of their chairs.
