My school is very special. It is an "alternative education" school setting in an inner city. Students come to my school for a second chance at graduating high school and earning a diploma. Students come to my school for many reasons. Some have made mistakes and are ready to change for the better. Some made the courageous decision on their own to come to a school where they can get more attention because they were simply "passing through" in their old, crowded school. They are eager to learn. My students feel grateful to have the chance to become a better person. Many of them never thought they would graduate from high school. Because of my school, they are able to graduate and go on and achieve their dreams.
