Classroom essentials are key to ensure that ALL students have the basic tools needed to reach their individual learning goals. These classroom items will help create the basic building blocks for our classroom community of excited students who are ready to rock this school year.
Scholastic books and book bins will be utilized to get our Classroom Library off the ground. I hope to be able to deliver leveled books to students’ homes on a regular basis so they always have something interesting and challenging to read.
LEGOS will enable students to problem solve as they work to build structures and robots while exploring fundamental math, science, and engineering concepts. LEGOS can also be used as math manipulatives and will come in handy in several other ways.
Making anchor charts to illustrate various educational concepts in a stimulating way, even from a distance. These colorful charts will then be uploaded into our classroom dashboard for easy access and reference to assist with the learning process.
Mini white boards are another GREAT way to get students engaged and comfortable with making mistakes. These will be used to help students practice math concepts, draw diagrams, and play fun educational games, among money other things.
