My students are in first grade. School is new and they are still not afraid to use their curiosity to explore their world. They have tons of questions and ways of looking at the world already and we have only just met! I enjoy their thirst for knowledge and the fact that they are not beat down by school yet. I want to encourage that curiosity and wonder through essential resources and effective teaching practices.
