My students are in grades 6-8 from an inner city title one school in Lancaster, PA. The students in my classroom are struggling readers and are placed in our classes to help move them up in grade level and teach them strategies that they would be able to use in their other classes. I teach them the skills based on what they need and they work on an individualized computer based program on their level.
The software program helps the teacher collect data to see where the particular student is struggling. I am then able to differentiate the teaching to reach their particular needs.
