I have a wonderful classroom of K and 1st grade readers, writers, helpers, mathematicians, scientists, artists, and all around great future community leaders. Our school consists of two schools in one including an all English neighborhood program and a Spanish Immersion program. This allows students to learn from each other and ask inquisitive questions. My students do their best learning together through communication and hands-on projects. I have some special needs in my classroom and through our carpet lessons we learn to respect and accept all learners. My students are very compassionate children and I am proud to be their teacher and teach in this wonderful community.
