My school is primarily low-income students, many of whom come from Spanish-speaking families. Most of them have parents who want to be supportive, but because of either time, language or money constraints they are not able to help them at home. These children are eager to learn, and school is the only safe haven for many of them. I have high expectations for all of them, and they do not disappoint me!
