The nonfiction texts I've chosen will enhance our current classroom library. Teachers in our town are working hard to keep students engaged as we transition back and forth between "Total Remote Learning" and "All in Learning". With these transitions, having the needed amount of resources also becomes a challenge. Engaging students during this time is PARAMOUNT - and reading nonfiction texts can motivate all types of readers by capitalizing on their curiosity and interest in the world around them. This goal of this Donors Choose is to get more nonfiction into the hands of my second graders!

About my class
