Our school is located in a rural-suburban area in Pennsylvania. We are a Title One school, and some of my students receive Title One assistance. I like my classroom to be their "home away from home". My students are unique, inquisitive, respectful, kind, and most of all.......fun! We enjoy our time in the classroom, and I notice that when I give my students a challenge, they rise to the occasion! They are an amazing group of kiddos!
My students love to read and research. We have goals that each student must read 1,500 pages of grade appropriate material by the end of the year and summarize what they have read. They also love to have a book nook where they can read quietly and enjoy their reading.
