I have students who are ready to learn, but have several obstacles in their way. They come from single parent families and blended families as well as generational homes. What they need to succeed are tools and the belief they can do anything. I have issued a 30 book challenge to encourage their love of reading. I need books and "Time for Kids" magazine to help achieve this goal. Additionally, several will benefit from flexible seating to expend excess energy and enable them to focus in class instead of fidget.
