My students are socio-economically disadvantaged and rarely experience technology outside of our classroom. All of my students receive free lunch and in some cases we have to raise money to offset field trips. I teach ESOL, DES and regular ED students who struggle with the basic kindergarten knowledge. In the last few years I realized how the use of technology engages my students. The technology allows them to see beyond the classroom and gives them the sense of life outside the area of our school.
