I work at a Title 1 school teaching 3rd grade. There are 882 students enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year, 29% of which are minority students. 68% of our students qualify for free and reduced priced lunch. Our school services students with a wide range of abilities and needs. In my classroom last year, I had 16 students. Four of those students were ESE and six others qualified for additional Title 1 services in either reading or math.
Our staff is dedicated to helping students succeed. We have tutoring and enrichment programs that are offered to our students at no cost to the families. Our motto is, "children first."
