This is my first year teaching and I am very eager to meet my second grade class! I am very excited and thankful to be at Bay Crest Elementary. Bay Crest Elementary is a Title 1 school in arena County. I had a privilege to intern in first and fifth grade. One of my favorite quotes: "I call my students 'my kids' because in our year together they aren't just kids on my class list, they become a part of my heart". I am so blessed to have met each and every one of those little souls during my internship. I can't wait to spend a whole year with my future second grade class. If you ever begin to lose faith in humanity, just spend time getting to know a child. Children are gifts, treasure them.
