We are a neighborhood school serving a population of more than six hundred students from grades K-6. Our school is 92% free and reduced lunch and more than half of our population is comprised of English Language Learners. My class size is thirty-four students, comprised of monolingual students, English Language Learners, students receiving Special Education services, and students achieving at varying levels. The common thread is that all students are held to high expectations and work hard to achieve their personal best. We work everyday, in my classroom and in the school, to build a positive climate where students are presented with multiple opportunities to achieve success.
