The PBIS rewards system approach focuses on positive reinforcement and avoids punishing children. Another important facet of the PBIS program involves using rewards to motivate children to behave in a positive manner.
These rewards are based on student interest such as glow in the dark bracelets, pull back cars and stickers. Students are recognized for their hard work, being respectful to others, being responsible, showing self-control and being a good citizen. Rewards are an effective incentive for promoting positive behavior and with items being donated to our school, I am able to recognize positive behavior and motivate students to continue to do their best.
