I teach 27 third graders in a Title I school. 90 percent of my students are second language learners. 75 percent of my students speak Spanish as their first language. 100% of my school population qualifies for free or reduced lunch. We are a high needs school and we struggle to get supplies. My students LOVE technology. They ask everyday to "play" on the computer. We have 3 in our room that work very slow because they are outdated. Technology is our most important resource and teaching tool. My students are curious and excited learners without the opportunity to put their enthusiasm to work.
