My kindergarten students live in a high-poverty area of a big city. These little ones are exposed to a variety of challenges on a daily basis: incarcerated parents, language barriers, no pre-school experience, etc. Despite the obstacles, my students love to come to school! It is a safe place for them to be and to learn. Because they are so young, they are full of energy and are very enthusiastic!
