I teach a diverse group of students in a near-urban suburb of Denver, Colorado. Students range from impacted low-income to upper middle class. I have several students that are gifted and others who have special needs. A large minority of my students are second language learners. In my school there are immigrants from Asia, Central and South America, the Middle East and Africa. My school is also a center for gifted and talented students.
