Recently I was introduced to the Civil Air Patrol's STEM kits for teachers program. This program provides teachers and classrooms free STEM kits in the areas of Aviation, Cyber, and Space. I have ordered 2 kits, a flight simulator, and a set of Spheros. The problem is, my school only uses Macintosh computers, but the programs needed to run the STEM kits requires Windows. Having a computer that will support the Flight Simulator Software, as well as the Sphero Software, will allow me to introduce these amazing learning tools to my students and to set up centers for students to use throughout the year. As I plan on ordering more STEM kits, this computer will useful for future kits as well.
