My amazing second grade students come from a very high poverty neighborhood in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia. I would describe my students as energetic, caring, and eager to learn!
It's amazing to see the look of excitement on all of my students' faces as they enter the classroom each morning. Many people say that when they enter our school, they feel as though they have entered a warm and friendly learning environment.
We are a small school with a very limited budget. We are the kind of school where all teachers share whatever resources they have with each other. We have an extremely caring and dedicated staff who will stop at nothing to make sure every child in the school succeeds.
