Our school is an intercity K-8 school. We are made up of a variety of backgrounds: Hispanic, American Indian, Asian, African American, White and Multiracial. We have students with same sex parents and students who identify as LGBT. There is no separate gifted program or special education within the building. All students are mainstreamed including our medically fragile classrooms. We have many religions represented in our building. One feature of our building which is unique is our garden program. Our students participate in growing produce to improve their nutrition and also to donate to our local food bank. Our school motto is, "In this garden, we all belong!" Our teachers and staff work hard to instill this belief in our students.
