Sixty percent of my students are English Language Learners. Many of their families are recent immigrants from Guatemala. For many of our students, their access to technology is at school or on their parent's phone. Building background knowledge and expanding vocabulary are important for success for my students. Our school is a dual language school, all of our students receive half of their instruction in English and half in Spanish.
