Hi there. My name is Andrea Hallman and I am a proud special educator at Overlook Elementary School, a small, diverse school located just outside of Baltimore City. My students' needs are varied. Many of them are struggling to feel successful in school, and most are, on average, 2 grade levels behind where they should be. They have passionate parents and teachers who want to see them grow and reach grade-level expectations. All of my students participate in grade-level curriculum through inclusion, and although that comes with its challenges, every day I am amazed at what we can accomplish.
