My music students are in Pre K - 4th grade. We have a small school district , very rural, and some low income families. The small amount is made up in big hearts and love. There is alot of family in town, or people that have lived here all their life so everyone knows everybody! Typically my students are ready to learn and experience new things. There are a few that are shy, but most come out of their shell especially in music class. My school is fun and energetic. We are all excited about teaching students to learn and help them experience new things. We are a "7 Habit School" so we are also teaching life skills and how to work together for the good of all! I want my students to have the best education possible, and experience new instruments, music and the arts just as bigger schools do. I want them to know that regardless of how big the town they come from does not define how well they will do in life. I want to teach them to reach for their dreams, what ever that is big or small.
