My AP Statistics students are highly motivated upper class-men that look forward to continuing their education. My class generates its own discussions and loves relating mathematical concepts to the real world. The biggest complement I get from my students at the of the year is that I made them think and question statistics that they read or hear.
My high school is located in an upper-middle class suburb of a major southwestern US city. It offers a variety of academic curricula, as well as sports and clubs. There is a strong sense of community among teachers, parents, and students. I enjoy attending campus events after hours and seeing my students away from the classroom.
