Our school has a diverse population of learners who are eager to use technology. Statistically speaking we are a Title I school and many of our students come from an impoverished area, but to me I know that's not any reason as to why these students can't have what others have. I tell them everyday we are all human, we are all equal and we talk about the hard work that we must all put in. These kids are dedicated, hard working, and perseverant. They are willing to put in the work to make their dreams come true and as a community we should rally behind them.
They enjoy playing online academic games and creating presentations that enhance the classroom environment. My students are creative thinkers, and who think outside the box, which is why they need technology that will keep up with them. They are passionate about learning about the world in which they live in and making in impact on today's society.
