My students struggle with math, so this year I would like to focus on the conceptual aspect of math that can be done through having the students make their own tool kits. I want student to have hard fun when learning about math. So, by creating their own tools students can approach math from the concepts and eventually understand the abstract. In reading I would like my students to improve their independent reading. I want them to create their own space with the floor chairs which will make reading comfortable.
