Our school is a Title I school with a high poverty level. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. However, their economic background does not stop their love of learning! I have 22 students (that I refer to as "my kids") from a variety of backgrounds that are all on different levels. Eight of my students speak English as a second language. I serve students that are below grade level, on level, and some that are above. This variety keeps me on my toes, but I love every minute of it!
