My school is a Title One school, with 99 percent of the students on free or reduced lunch. My classroom is very diverse and many students are refugees from all over the world. Many of my students lack the basic necessities like socks and healthy snacks to eat over the weekend. Often times the students at my school do not receive the academic support from their parents at home and I try to provide them with this support in my classroom.
