My students are bright students with potential. Most students have a love for the arts. I truly believe the art is a driving force to help them stay motivated and confident in school. My school, located in West Philadelphia, has a unique culture that centers around Africa principles of Kwanzaa and the rules of Ma'at. Students are taught to appreciate their African culture, while understanding how they can be productive citizens in the world we live in.

About my class
