I want all of my students to see themselves in the books they read. I also want my students to learn ways to help themselves through tough situations. Many of the books I have requested are to help with that. Some of the other books I have requested are for those students who are struggling to find they love for reading. I asked them what they liked so that I could get the books to help them get started. I think that reading can be a lot more fun if they are comfy and relaxed. The flexible seating will help to make our reading time more enjoyable.
