Hi! I am the Library Media Specialist here at Lake Valley Elementary School in Prescott Valley, AZ. It has a such a joy working here with these kids for the past year. Now that I am into my second year at this school, I have a better grasp as to what the needs are with my students. Our schools serves the low-income area of my city, with over 85% of our student body qualifying for the Free Lunch Program. As a school, we are not able to afford an artistic outlet for the students by having an art program and it is difficult to find a budget for updating our library.
