I teach at a Title I school in South Florida. According to data on my school's 2013-2014 School Improvement Plan, the free and reduced lunch rate is 98% and the minority rate is 98%.
I am a teacher to 19 4-year-olds in a Head Start program. The program promotes the school readiness of young children from low-income families through research-based curriculum and programs designed to support families.
My students are active, loving, and very curious. They love instruction through technology but many of them do not have computer access at home.
