As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom that often times seem never ending. Despite the ongoing struggles, they come to school eager to learn and ready to face any new obstacles in school. I strive, as their teacher, to give them ample opportunities to succeed and get the education they deserve. Learning should be enjoyable and full of memorable experiences; I aim to provide that for my students, regardless of any obstacles or challenges that may come our way.
