We strongly believe in the balance of academics and character and live by the motto, "Work hard. Be nice." Our students embody the school values of determination, excellence, integrity, teamwork, and joy. We witness them rising to, meeting, and exceeding academic challenges daily. Their persistence is admirable and inspiring. While we are working hard, we are also filling our days and classroom with laughter, love, and acceptance. We are located in an urban setting. Our students are facing real obstacles on their road to academic success - 95% of our students come from low-income backgrounds and 27% receive special education services. Despite this reality, we know with hard work our students are capable of achieving any dream they set their mind to - whether that be an engineer, teacher, or doctor!
