I am requesting these materials to motivate and encourage my students to investigate and engage with our world. We just need your help. The theme boxes and books will help them explore them learn about different topics (senses, community and careers, weather). Each theme box has props & manipulative's that give them a concrete sense of each concept. The students will be engaged in projects and activities that extend the stories, build comprehension and provide more opportunities to improve language. The storage bins are clear. They will help my students find materials easy and keep our classroom organized. During the day, students are allowed to go to different centers such as blocks, art, dramatic play, sensory table and reading and writing. The giant blocks, magna cars and trucks, scooters, squigs, animals, water table, pipe builders, number and letters will help stimulate and challenge their thinking and problem solving skills as they explore. Your donations to our project will help my D/HH Pre K students develop play skills, social skills and motor skills. My students can study just like other children. However, they struggle with many issues including language and communication. These materials will help my students build up language, communication and social skills.
