I work at a Title I school in Renton. Our school is 55% free and reduce price lunch. My class is filled with students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have the greatest class. They are very caring and helpful to each other and have a real love of learning. They work hard everyday to reach their goals, that they have set for themselves. I am currently the only 3rd grade teacher that does not have a central gathering place to teach reading and it was my class that suggested buying a carpet.
