My students will utilize the books during RACE time. RACE time occurs during the first 30 minutes of our day. The students will only be reading books at their reading levels. Additionally, the students will use the books during their center times when they are allowed to read independently after completing their literacy activities. I intend to create a classroom conducive to choice reading so that my students can improve their reading skills, reading levels, spelling, and vocabulary. The more books I can gather, the more excited and eager the students will become to read throughout the day. Upon obtaining this donation, I will be able to enhance my students' opportunity to become lifelong readers . Such books will motivate the kids to browse and discover the perfect type of book for them.
