More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
I work in a Title 1 school where I serve as a third grade teacher to 22 amazing students! Our school has over 500 students with approximately 70% of those students qualifying for free/reduced lunch. Over the last two years I have built up some flexible seating options, which the students LOVE! I try to provide my students with a caring, exciting, welcoming learning environment that promotes continuous learning. I like to provide my students with learning opportunities that they might not have elsewhere. My students are eager to learn, and with the right tools, I know that they can each be successful now and in their future!
