Each day it is not uncommon for my students to thank me for being their teacher. Being high school students, you would not expect to see this often. But I do. What is not to love about that? My students are freshmen and sophomore honors biology students who attend a large public high school in Phoenix, Arizona. They come from all walks of life and are culturally diverse. These students are eager to learn and they are dedicated to their education.
